Registration Process

In order to register themselves for Bihar NEET PG Counselling registration, candidates are required to follow the steps mentioned below:

Step 1 Registration 

  • Visit the BCECE Board’s website: bceceboard.bihar.gov.in.
  • Click on the “PGMAC-2022” link under the Prospectus Section to download the prospectus.
  • To fill the online application form, click on the “Online Application portal of PGMAC-2022” and then click on the “Apply Online” button.
  • Fill in the required information in Step-One of the application form, including your NEET-PG 2022 Roll No., date of birth, and verify the details.
  • After successful verification, you will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number and email ID.
  • Enter the OTP to proceed with the registration process.
  • Upon successful registration, you will receive a confirmation message on your registered mobile number and email.

Step 2 Personal Information

  • Sign in to your account using your NEET-PG-2022 Application No. and Password.
  • Complete the required entries regarding personal information on the computer screen.
  • Click on the “Save & Continue” button.

Step 3 Upload Photo and Signature

  •  Upload your passport size photograph and full signature in Hindi and English (not in capital letters) as per the specifications.
  • Click on the “Save & Continue” button.

Step 4  Educational Information

  • Enter your educational information on the computer screen.
  • Click on the “Save & Continue” button.

Step 5 Remote Experience

  • If applicable, provide details regarding your work experience as a Medical Officer in remote/difficult areas.
  • Upload the work experience certificate issued by the authorized concerned authority.
  • Click on the “Save & Continue” button.

Step 5 Preview Your Application

  • Verify all the information provided in Step 2, Step 3, Step 4, and Step 5.
  • If any information is incorrect, click on the “Back to Edit” button to make the necessary corrections.
  • Once the preview of the application form is correct, give your declaration and click the “Proceed to Payment” button.

Step 6 Payment of Counselling Fee and Security Deposit

  • Pay the non-refundable counselling/registration fee of Rs. 2200/- for all categories through online mode.
  • If applicable, pay the refundable security deposit as per the table mentioned in the prospectus.
  • Complete the payment procedure as per the instructions on the computer screen.

Step 7 Downloading of Part A & Part B

  • After successful payment, download the hard copy (Part A & Part B) of the online submitted application form.
  • Keep the downloaded form safely for future use during counseling.

Counselling Process

Step 1 Online Registration

  • Visit the BCECE Board’s website and log in using Login credentials.
  • Access the counseling portal and fill in the required information.
  • Pay the counseling fee and security deposit online as per the instructions provided.

Step 2 Choice Filling

  • After successful registration, Candidate can access the choice filling option.
  • Select preferred medical colleges and courses from the available options.
  • Arrange the choices in order of preference.

Step 3 Seat Allotment

  • The BCECE Board will conduct the seat allotment process based on your rank, choices, and availability of seats.
  • You will be allotted a seat in a medical college based on the merit and category you belong to.
  • The seat allotment result will be published on the BCECE Board’s website.

Step 4 Provisional Allotment Letter

  • If you are allotted a seat, you can download the provisional allotment letter from the BCECE Board’s website.
  • The letter will contain information about the allotted college and course.
  • Take a printout of the allotment letter for further reference.

Step 4 Document Verification

  • Visit the designated document verification center on the specified date and time.
  • Carry all the required original documents, along with their photocopies, for verification.
  • After verification, your documents will be returned, and you will receive a receipt.

Step 5 Reporting to Allotted College

  • Visit the allotted medical college within the given timeframe.
  • Carry the provisional allotment letter, receipt of document verification, and other necessary documents.
  • Complete the admission formalities, pay the admission fees, and secure your seat.

Step 6 Upgradation and Second Round Counseling (if applicable):

  • If you want to participate in the upgradation process or the second round of counseling, follow the instructions provided by the BCECE Board.
  • You may need to surrender your previously allotted seat to participate in these rounds.
  • The process will involve choice filling, seat allotment, document verification, and reporting to the newly allotted college.

Step 7 Final Admission

MCC 50% AIQ Quota

About MCC

Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. The MCC is responsible for conducting online counselling for admission of 50% of seats to various postgraduate medical and dental courses in India, including MBBS and BDS, through the NEET UG and NEET PG exams, respectively.

The MCC conducts centralized counselling for the 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats in government medical and dental colleges across India, as well as for seats in Deemed and Central Universities, ESIC, and AFMC colleges. The counselling process involves registration, choice filling, seat allotment, document verification, and admission to the allotted colleges.

MCC NEET Counselling Registration

MCC holds four rounds of NEET-UG counseling for AIQ, including a mop-up round and a stray vacancy round. Following the completion of Round 2, the MCC will fill the remaining seats in a mop-up round and a stray vacancy round. The following steps must be taken:

  • Visit the official website: Visit the official website of MCC (https://mcc.nic.in/) and click on the “UG Medical Counseling” tab.
  • New registration: Click on “New Registration” and fill in all the required details such as personal details, contact details, NEET exam details, and security pin. After filling in all the details, click on the “Submit” button.
  • Login credentials: After successful registration, a new page will appear with your login credentials. Use these credentials to log in and fill in your choices of colleges and courses.
  • Choice filling: Fill in your preferred colleges and courses in order of priority. You can choose as many choices as you want.
  • Locking of choices: After you have filled in your choices, you need to lock them by clicking on the “Lock Choices” button. Once the choices are locked, you cannot make any changes.
  • Seat allotment: The MCC conducts the seat allotment process based on your rank, category, and the choices filled by you. You will be able to see your seat allotment result on the official website.
  • Reporting to the allotted college: If you are satisfied with the seat allotted to you, you need to report to the allotted college within the specified time with all the required documents and pay the admission fee.

Rounds For Counselling

Round 1:

  • Register: Pay the non-refundable registration fee and refundable security deposit.
  • Choose colleges: Fill in your preferred colleges in order of priority and lock your choices.
  • Seat allotment: MCC processes your choices and allots seats based on merit and rank. Results are published on the MCC website.

Round 2:

  • New Registrations: Only for those who didn’t register in Round 1 or resigned/didn’t report in Round 1.
  • Fresh choices: Fill in new choices for available seats.

Mop-Up Round:

  • Fresh registrations: Only for those who exited Round 2 with fee forfeiture or those who registered but got no seat in Rounds 1 & 2. Not eligible for those who joined a seat in Round 2.
  • Fresh choices: Fill in new choices for available seats.
  • Results and reporting: Same as Round 1.

Stray Vacancy Round:

  • Filling of choices and allotment happens through state websites. No fresh registration on MCC website.
