Counselling Registrations
Step 1: Visit the website:
- Head over to https://pgcq.ysruhs.com/ The homepage will appear.
Step 2: Register:
- Look for the Registration Form and fill in your details carefully.
- Double-check your information, then click "Register."
Step 3: Verify your registration:
- An OTP will be sent to your phone and email. Enter it on the website and click "Submit."
Step 4: Login and update details (optional):
- If you need to update your information, enter your User ID/Login ID, NEET Roll No, and Password to log in.
- This step takes you back to the application form for updates.
Step 5: Make the payment:
- Choose your preferred payment method.
- Click "Yes, Confirm and Pay" to proceed.
- Upon successful payment, you'll receive a confirmation message.
Step 6: Fill and submit the application form:
- The application form appears. Fill in all details carefully.
- Upload your Passport Size Photo and Signature in JPEG/JPG format, both under 100 KB.
- Click "Submit" after completing the form.
Step 7: Finalize your application:
- Click "Update" to confirm your entries.
- Click "Upload Documents" to upload scanned PDF certificates, each under 500 KB.
- Once all certificates are uploaded, click "Upload Certificates."
Step 8: Confirmation and receipt:
- You'll receive an SMS and email confirmation after uploading all documents.
- Click "Print Application" to get a printout of your filled form for future reference.

First Step: Online Registration:

- Pay the registration fee and receive a confirmation message.
Second Step: Choice Filling & Locking:

- Rank colleges in order of preference for admission.
- Carefully review your choices and lock them before the deadline.
Third Step: Seat Allotment
- Check the website for your allocated seat based on your rank and choices.
- If you're satisfied, download the provisional allotment letter.
Fourth Step: Reporting to Allotted College (September 9, 2023):
- Report to the allocated college within the specified timeframe.
- Submit the required documents and complete admission formalities.
Fifth Step: Upgradation Option (optional)
- If you want to upgrade to a better college in subsequent rounds:
- Resign from your current seat before the deadline.
- Participate in further rounds of counselling with new choices.
Sixth Step: Subsequent Rounds
- Mop-Up and Stray Vacancy Rounds might be conducted if seats remain vacant.
- Follow the same steps as Round 1 for registration, choice filling, and reporting.

MCC 50% AIQ Quota
About MCC
Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. The MCC is responsible for conducting online counselling for admission of 50% of seats to various postgraduate medical and dental courses in India, including MBBS and BDS, through the NEET UG and NEET PG exams, respectively.
The MCC conducts centralized counselling for the 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats in government medical and dental colleges across India, as well as for seats in Deemed and Central Universities, ESIC, and AFMC colleges. The counselling process involves registration, choice filling, seat allotment, document verification, and admission to the allotted colleges.
MCC NEET Counselling Registration
MCC holds four rounds of NEET-UG counseling for AIQ, including a mop-up round and a stray vacancy round. Following the completion of Round 2, the MCC will fill the remaining seats in a mop-up round and a stray vacancy round. The following steps must be taken:
- Visit the official website: Visit the official website of MCC (https://mcc.nic.in/) and click on the "UG Medical Counseling" tab.
- New registration: Click on "New Registration" and fill in all the required details such as personal details, contact details, NEET exam details, and security pin. After filling in all the details, click on the "Submit" button.
- Login credentials: After successful registration, a new page will appear with your login credentials. Use these credentials to log in and fill in your choices of colleges and courses.
- Choice filling: Fill in your preferred colleges and courses in order of priority. You can choose as many choices as you want.
- Locking of choices: After you have filled in your choices, you need to lock them by clicking on the "Lock Choices" button. Once the choices are locked, you cannot make any changes.
- Seat allotment: The MCC conducts the seat allotment process based on your rank, category, and the choices filled by you. You will be able to see your seat allotment result on the official website.
- Reporting to the allotted college: If you are satisfied with the seat allotted to you, you need to report to the allotted college within the specified time with all the required documents and pay the admission fee.

Rounds For Counselling
Round 1:
- Register: Pay the non-refundable registration fee and refundable security deposit.
- Choose colleges: Fill in your preferred colleges in order of priority and lock your choices.
- Seat allotment: MCC processes your choices and allots seats based on merit and rank. Results are published on the MCC website.
- Reporting: If you get a seat, report to the allotted college and complete admission formalities. You can opt for an upgrade to Round 2 here.
Round 2:
- New Registrations: Only for those who didn't register in Round 1 or resigned/didn't report in Round 1.
- Fresh choices: Fill in new choices for available seats.
- Results and reporting: Same as Round 1.
Mop-Up Round:
- Fresh registrations: Only for those who exited Round 2 with fee forfeiture or those who registered but got no seat in Rounds 1 & 2. Not eligible for those who joined a seat in Round 2.
