Maharajah’s Institute of Medical Sciences Nellimarla established in 2002 is one of the prime and reputed colleges in Andhra Pradesh. The college is first and only Teaching Hospital of its kind in Vizianagaram region, and is located in the pristine surroundings of Nellimarla in the Vizianagaram district of Andhra Pradesh. The college is affiliated with Dr. YSR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada and also has the recognition from the National Medical Commission. 

With the vision of promoting medical education and healthcare, as well as providing relief and assistance to victims of natural disasters; The college has taken on the mission of being able to diagnose and manage common health problems of individuals and communities at the primary and secondary levels, as well as being aware of and implementing National Health Programs.

Counselling Registration

Step 1: Mobile and Email Registration

Begin by registering using your mobile number and email address. This provides the initial information the system needs to identify and communicate with you.

Step 2: Payment of Fee

After registering, proceed to pay the specified fee. This is a necessary financial step to move forward in the admission process. The fee amount and payment methods will be provided to you.

Step 3: Updating of Data

Once your payment is confirmed, you’ll be required to update your personal information. This step ensures that the system has accurate and up-to-date details about you.

Step 4: Uploading of Certificates

In this step, you’ll need to upload relevant certificates. These could include educational qualifications, identity documents, and any other necessary paperwork. These certificates provide evidence of your eligibility for admission.

Counselling Process

Step 1: Registration

  • Create an account on the official counseling portal using personal information and NEET exam details.
  • Receive a unique ID and password upon successful registration.

Step 2: Document Verification

  • Upload necessary documents, including NEET scorecard, 10th and 12th mark sheets, Aadhar card, etc.
  • Submitted documents are reviewed to verify eligibility.

Step 3: Payment

  • Submit the non-refundable registration fee through secure online payment methods.

Step 4: Choose Preferences

  1. Select preferred medical colleges and desired courses from available options.
  2. Arrange your choices in order of preference and finalize by locking.

Step 6: Admission Confirmation

  • If allotted a seat, report to the allocated college within the specified timeframe.

Documents Required For UG Course

  • Shortlisted candidates must report to the counseling centers with three sets of authenticated copies of relevant documents.
  • Candidates must also submit a printout of their Andhra Pradesh application during the document verification process.
  • Candidates must include a passport-sized photocopy of the Andhra Pradesh application form in the printed copy.

  • SSC or equivalent examinations (for showing the date of birth)
  • Transfer certificate
  • Study certificate(s) from 6th class to intermediate
  • Qualifying Exam Certificate
  • Residence certificate of the candidate or either parent issued by MRO / Tahasildar of Telangana/Andhra Pradesh for a period of ten -years (Period to be specified with exact month and year) excluding the period of study/employment outside the state.
  • Candidates claiming quota eligibility under Special Categories must provide the required certificate in support of their claim Permanent Caste Certificate (Integrated Community A certificate) requesting reservation under the BC, SC, or ST categories issued by a mandated officer.
  • In order to be eligible for fee exemption, the parent’s most recent income certificate issued by MRO/Tahsildar or white ration card

  • Minority certificate issued by Minorities Welfare Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
