Great Eastern Medical School and Hospital Srikakulam, was founded in August 2010 by Aditya Educational Society’s Chairman, Sri Rajyasri Bollineni. It is accredited by the National Medical Commission and, as of 2010, is affiliated with the Dr. YSR University of Health Sciences in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh.
It is considered the most modern medical college in the Andhra Pradesh district of Srikakulam, providing education to aspiring doctors as well as state-of-the-art medical health care to the local population as well as those from neighboring districts of Andhra Pradesh and Orissa.
