Counselling Registrations 

Step 1. Profile Creation:

  • Visit dme.mponline.gov.in and click “Post Graduate Counselling.”
  • Click “Create Profile,” entering your NEET PG roll number, secret key, and captcha.
  • Fill in contact and bank account details, then click “Proceed.”
  • Enter the OTP received by phone/email and set a password. Click “Validate and Save.”

Step 2. Registration:

  • Your profile will be created, and you can proceed with registration.
  • Click “Registration Form” and fill in details like NRI status, MBBS/BDS completion, recognition details, domicile, category, disability, etc.
  • Click “Save Data” once satisfied.
  • Upload all required documents and click “Save Enclosures.”
  • Review your information and click “Proceed to Payment for Registration.”
  • Choose your online payment gateway and pay the registration fee.

Step 3. Confirmation and Completion:

  • After successful payment, download the registration receipt for future reference.
  • Your Candidate Registration tracker will turn green, indicating successful registration.
  • You can edit your registration details through the “Edit Registration Form” until the deadline.

4. Allotment and Fee Payment:

  • If you are satisfied, attend the “Attendance” and “Document Verification” process.
  • Click “Institute Fee Payment” and choose your preferred payment method.
  • Follow the instructions for NEFT/RTGS payment if applicable.
  • Generate the challan and pay the fee.
  • Download the fee payment receipt for future reference.

About MCC

Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. The MCC is responsible for conducting online counselling for admission of 50% of seats to various postgraduate medical and dental courses in India, including MBBS and BDS, through the NEET UG and NEET PG exams, respectively.

The MCC conducts centralized counselling for the 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats in government medical and dental colleges across India, as well as for seats in Deemed and Central Universities, ESIC, and AFMC colleges. The counselling process involves registration, choice filling, seat allotment, document verification, and admission to the allotted colleges.

MCC NEET Counselling Registration

MCC holds four rounds of NEET-UG counseling for AIQ, including a mop-up round and a stray vacancy round. Following the completion of Round 2, the MCC will fill the remaining seats in a mop-up round and a stray vacancy round. The following steps must be taken:

  • Visit the official website: Visit the official website of MCC (https://mcc.nic.in/) and click on the “UG Medical Counseling” tab.
  • New registration: Click on “New Registration” and fill in all the required details such as personal details, contact details, NEET exam details, and security pin. After filling in all the details, click on the “Submit” button.
  • Login credentials: After successful registration, a new page will appear with your login credentials. Use these credentials to log in and fill in your choices of colleges and courses.
  • Choice filling: Fill in your preferred colleges and courses in order of priority. You can choose as many choices as you want.
  • Locking of choices: After you have filled in your choices, you need to lock them by clicking on the “Lock Choices” button. Once the choices are locked, you cannot make any changes.
  • Seat allotment: The MCC conducts the seat allotment process based on your rank, category, and the choices filled by you. You will be able to see your seat allotment result on the official website.
  • Reporting to the allotted college: If you are satisfied with the seat allotted to you, you need to report to the allotted college within the specified time with all the required documents and pay the admission fee.

Rounds For Counselling

Round 1:

  • Register: Pay the non-refundable registration fee and refundable security deposit.
  • Choose colleges: Fill in your preferred colleges in order of priority and lock your choices.
  • Seat allotment: MCC processes your choices and allots seats based on merit and rank. Results are published on the MCC website.
  • Reporting: If you get a seat, report to the allotted college and complete admission formalities. You can opt for an upgrade to Round 2 here.

Round 2:

  • New Registrations: Only for those who didn’t register in Round 1 or resigned/didn’t report in Round 1.
  • Fresh choices: Fill in new choices for available seats.
  • Results and reporting: Same as Round 1.

Mop-Up Round:

  • Fresh registrations: Only for those who exited Round 2 with fee forfeiture or those who registered but got no seat in Rounds 1 & 2. Not eligible for those who joined a seat in Round 2.
  • Fresh choices: Fill in new choices for available seats.
  • Results and reporting: Same as Round 1.

Stray Vacancy Round:

  • Filling of choices and allotment happens through state websites. No fresh registration on MCC website.
  • Reporting to the allotted college.
