  • Click on the "Click to Apply" link/button under the heading "Online Applications" and select "NEET– PG/MDS."

Step 3: Check Registration Schedule

  • Note the start and last date for filling up the online registration form and uploading documents.

Step 4: Read Important Instructions

  • Carefully read the instructions provided, especially those related to document scanning and uploading.

Step 5: Document Preparation

  • Ensure you have soft scanned copies of the required documents (Residence Certificate, Date of Birth Certificate, Qualifying Exam Marks Sheets, Category Certificate, etc.) in PDF format with a size between 100-200 KB.

Step 6: Fill the Online Application Form

  • Click on "Click here to apply."
  • Read the instructions, check the box indicating you've read them, and click "Apply."
  • Fill in the registration details, enter the verification code, and click "Submit."
  • Review the submitted details. If needed, edit the information by clicking on the provided link.
  • Note that registration details are usually non-editable once submitted.

Step 7: Registration Confirmation

  • If details are correct, click on the provided link.
  • An email will be sent to your provided email address. Activate your account by clicking on the activation link and entering the OTP received. Set a new password.

Step 8: Login and Upload Documents

  • Login using your NEET Roll No. and the new password.
  • Go to "Upload documents" and choose the relevant PDF documents as specified. Click "Upload" after providing the verification code.

Step 9: Document Verification and Printing

  • After successful upload, a message will confirm. Click on the link to print the registration form for personal records.

Step 10: Logout

  • Close the window after confirming the correct document upload.

Step 11: Already Registered Candidates

  • If already registered, click on "Click here to login if already registered."
  • View personal details, application status, uploaded documents, edit registration details, or change the password.

Counselling Process

Step 1. Registration:

  • Visit the BOPEE website (www.jkbopee.gov.in).
  • Click on the "Click to Apply" link under "NEET-PG/MDS."
  • Create an account using your NEET Roll No. and set a password.
  • Fill in the registration form and upload required documents (PDF format, 100-200 KB).
  • Activate your account using the OTP sent to your registered email.

Step 2. Preference Form (Online):

  • Log in using your NEET Roll No. and password.
  • Select your preferred disciplines and colleges.
  • Arrange preferences in order of choice (most preferred first).
  • Preview and lock your choices before the deadline.
  • Pay the fee of Rs. 2000/- online.
  • Print a copy of your locked preference form.

Step 3. Seat Allotment:

  • BOPEE will allot seats based on merit, preferences, and reservation rules.
  • Check the allotment results on the BOPEE website and leading English dailies.

Step 4. Joining the College (Round 1):

  • If allotted a seat, join the college within the specified time.
  • Submit original documents and complete formalities as required by the college.

Step 5. Upgradation/Allotment Round (Optional):

  • Participate in this round to try for a better seat.
  • May be conducted online or through physical counselling.
  • Fresh preferences need to be filled.
  • If upgraded, you must join the new college and forfeit the previously allotted seat.

Step 6. Subsequent Rounds (If Conducted):

  • Similar to the Upgradation/Allotment Round.
  • Eligibility criteria may vary.

About MCC

Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. The MCC is responsible for conducting online counselling for admission of 50% of seats to various postgraduate medical and dental courses in India, including MBBS and BDS, through the NEET UG and NEET PG exams, respectively.

The MCC conducts centralized counselling for the 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats in government medical and dental colleges across India, as well as for seats in Deemed and Central Universities, ESIC, and AFMC colleges. The counselling process involves registration, choice filling, seat allotment, document verification, and admission to the allotted colleges.

MCC NEET Counselling Registration

MCC holds four rounds of NEET-UG counseling for AIQ, including a mop-up round and a stray vacancy round. Following the completion of Round 2, the MCC will fill the remaining seats in a mop-up round and a stray vacancy round. The following steps must be taken:

  • Visit the official website: Visit the official website of MCC (https://mcc.nic.in/) and click on the "UG Medical Counseling" tab.
  • New registration: Click on "New Registration" and fill in all the required details such as personal details, contact details, NEET exam details, and security pin. After filling in all the details, click on the "Submit" button.
  • Login credentials: After successful registration, a new page will appear with your login credentials. Use these credentials to log in and fill in your choices of colleges and courses.
  • Choice filling: Fill in your preferred colleges and courses in order of priority. You can choose as many choices as you want.
  • Locking of choices: After you have filled in your choices, you need to lock them by clicking on the "Lock Choices" button. Once the choices are locked, you cannot make any changes.
  • Seat allotment: The MCC conducts the seat allotment process based on your rank, category, and the choices filled by you. You will be able to see your seat allotment result on the official website.
  • Reporting to the allotted college: If you are satisfied with the seat allotted to you, you need to report to the allotted college within the specified time with all the required documents and pay the admission fee.

Rounds For Counselling

Round 1:

  • Register: Pay the non-refundable registration fee and refundable security deposit.
  • Choose colleges: Fill in your preferred colleges in order of priority and lock your choices.
  • Seat allotment: MCC processes your choices and allots seats based on merit and rank. Results are published on the MCC website.
  • Reporting: If you get a seat, report to the allotted college and complete admission formalities. You can opt for an upgrade to Round 2 here.

Round 2:

  • New Registrations: Only for those who didn't register in Round 1 or resigned/didn't report in Round 1.
  • Fresh choices: Fill in new choices for available seats.
  • Results and reporting: Same as Round 1.

Mop-Up Round:

  • Fresh registrations: Only for those who exited Round 2 with fee forfeiture or those who registered but got no seat in Rounds 1 & 2. Not eligible for those who joined a seat in Round 2.
  • Fresh choices: Fill in new choices for available seats.
  • Results and reporting: Same as Round 1.

Stray Vacancy Round:

  • Filling of choices and allotment happens through state websites. No fresh registration on MCC website.
  • Reporting to the allotted college.
