Counselling Registrations
Step 1. Access the Application Form:
- Visit the official website: www.mahacet.org
- Click on the link "Apply Online for NEET-PG 2023"
Step 2. Fill the Application Form:
- Provide all required information, including your active mobile number and email address.
- Complete all mandatory fields.
- Enter a password for your account.
Step 3. Declare Your Agreement:
- Read and agree to the conditions under "Declaration by the Candidate."
Step 4. Submit the Form:
- Click the "Submit" button after thoroughly verifying all entered information.
Step 5. Pay the Fees:
- Pay the non-refundable application fee of Rs. 3000/- and any additional deposits required (refer to rule 11.3) through the online payment gateway.
- Print the receipt of payment and deposit.
Step 6. Login and Download:
- Use the "Log In" link on the website to access your application.
- Login using your Application Number (username) and password.
- Download and print the application form for future reference.
Step 7. Upload Documents:

Counselling Process
Step 1: Registration and Fee Payment:

- Pay the registration fee and any additional deposits.

Step 2: Seat Matrix and Choice Filling:
- The seat matrix for various colleges and specializations will be released.
- Carefully review the seat matrix and available choices.
- Fill in your preferred college and specialization choices in the online portal during the specified timeframe.
- Prioritize your choices wisely, as seats are allocated based on merit and choices.
Step 3: Round 1 Selection and Joining :
- The first round selection list will be announced based on your rank and chosen preferences.
- If you are allotted a seat, you must report to the designated college within the stipulated timeframe.
- Pay any required fees and complete the admission formalities.
- If you don't join the allotted seat, you will have to forfeit the security deposit.
Step 4: Subsequent Rounds :
- If you don't get your desired seat in Round 1 or want to upgrade your seat, you can participate in subsequent rounds.
- The process of seat matrix, choice filling, selection, and joining will be repeated for subsequent rounds.
- Remember, each round will have fewer seats available than the previous one.

MCC 50% AIQ Quota
About MCC
Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. The MCC is responsible for conducting online counselling for admission of 50% of seats to various postgraduate medical and dental courses in India, including MBBS and BDS, through the NEET UG and NEET PG exams, respectively.
The MCC conducts centralized counselling for the 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats in government medical and dental colleges across India, as well as for seats in Deemed and Central Universities, ESIC, and AFMC colleges. The counselling process involves registration, choice filling, seat allotment, document verification, and admission to the allotted colleges.
MCC NEET Counselling Registration
MCC holds four rounds of NEET-UG counseling for AIQ, including a mop-up round and a stray vacancy round. Following the completion of Round 2, the MCC will fill the remaining seats in a mop-up round and a stray vacancy round. The following steps must be taken:
- Visit the official website: Visit the official website of MCC (https://mcc.nic.in/) and click on the "UG Medical Counseling" tab.
- New registration: Click on "New Registration" and fill in all the required details such as personal details, contact details, NEET exam details, and security pin. After filling in all the details, click on the "Submit" button.
- Login credentials: After successful registration, a new page will appear with your login credentials. Use these credentials to log in and fill in your choices of colleges and courses.
- Choice filling: Fill in your preferred colleges and courses in order of priority. You can choose as many choices as you want.
- Locking of choices: After you have filled in your choices, you need to lock them by clicking on the "Lock Choices" button. Once the choices are locked, you cannot make any changes.
- Seat allotment: The MCC conducts the seat allotment process based on your rank, category, and the choices filled by you. You will be able to see your seat allotment result on the official website.
- Reporting to the allotted college: If you are satisfied with the seat allotted to you, you need to report to the allotted college within the specified time with all the required documents and pay the admission fee.

Rounds For Counselling
Round 1:
- Register: Pay the non-refundable registration fee and refundable security deposit.
- Choose colleges: Fill in your preferred colleges in order of priority and lock your choices.
- Seat allotment: MCC processes your choices and allots seats based on merit and rank. Results are published on the MCC website.
- Reporting: If you get a seat, report to the allotted college and complete admission formalities. You can opt for an upgrade to Round 2 here.
Round 2:
- New Registrations: Only for those who didn't register in Round 1 or resigned/didn't report in Round 1.
- Fresh choices: Fill in new choices for available seats.
- Results and reporting: Same as Round 1.
Mop-Up Round:
- Fresh registrations: Only for those who exited Round 2 with fee forfeiture or those who registered but got no seat in Rounds 1 & 2. Not eligible for those who joined a seat in Round 2.
- Fresh choices: Fill in new choices for available seats.
- Results and reporting: Same as Round 1.
Stray Vacancy Round:
- Filling of choices and allotment happens through state websites. No fresh registration on MCC website.

Maharashtra NEET PG Counselling Merit List is a compilation of candidates who have appeared for the NEET PG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate) examination and have applied for the counselling process in Maharashtra . This merit list is prepared based on the NEET PG scores obtained by the candidates.
The merit list provides a ranking system where candidates are listed in descending order of their NEET PG scores. The candidate with the highest score is given the top rank, while the candidate with the lowest score is placed at the bottom of the list.
