Kerala NEET MDS Counselling is the process conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, for admissions to Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) courses in dental colleges across the state of Kerala. The counselling process is based on the NEET MDS scores obtained by the candidates.
The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) is the regulatory authority responsible for organizing the counselling and admission process for various professional courses in Kerala, including MDS. The counselling process aims to provide a fair and transparent system for seat allocation in dental colleges.
The counselling process involves multiple rounds, including registration, choice filling, document verification, seat allotment, and reporting to the allotted college. Candidates are required to register online on the CEE website and fill in their choices of colleges and courses based on their preferences. The seat allotment is done based on factors such as NEET MDS scores, choices filled, reservation policies, and availability of seats.
Kerala NEET MDS Counselling follows a reservation policy as per the regulations of the state government. The reservation categories include Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), and other specified categories. The exact reservation percentages and eligibility criteria are determined by the government and may vary each year.
