Gujarat NEET Counselling is conducted by the Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPUGMEC), Gujarat on its dedicated website for admission to MBBS/BDS courses in Gujarat’s medical and dental institutes. Candidates can apply for counselling on the conducting authority’s official website https://www.medadmgujarat.org
There are four rounds of counselling including the stray vacancy round. The third, or mop-up, round of counselling is being conducted by the conducting authority, depending on the availability of seats.

- PIN for online registration can be purchased from www.medadmgujarat.org through online payment of Rs. 1000 (Non Refundable) plus Rs. 10,000 Refundable Security Deposit
- After online Registration, candidate has to take prior appointment for the Documents Verification and Submission of self-attested photocopies of Documents at Help Center. Candidates, themselves can select the Date and Help Center for Documents verification at the time of printing the Registration Slip.
- Help center will remain closed on public holidays and Sundays.
- For Local Quota: Candidates who want to apply in Local Quota Seats of Smt. NHL Municipal Medical College, Ahmedabad or Surat Municipal Institute of Medical Education & Research (SMIMER), Surat. Candidate in addition to online registration, must obtain certificate that he/she is local student of Ahmedabad/Surat city from Dean of respective institute, for this candidate has to contact respective college.
- For NRI Candidates only: After online application, they have to submit Demand draft of Rs.10,000/- in favor of ‘ACPUGMEC, payable at Gandhinagar’ as a process fee at the office of ACPUGMEC, GMERS Medical College, Gandhinagar Only.
- For 15% All India quota seats of BAMS & BHMS courses in Self-financed colleges: For 15% All India quota seats of BAMS & BHMS courses in Self-financed colleges, students who have passed 12th Standard (Science Stream with B / AB Group) from anywhere in India from any examination board in India and after qualifying as per All India Rank in NEET-UG 2023 and eligible as per Admission Rules of Ministry of Ayush, Govt. of India and respective council can apply for the same.

Gujarat NEET Counselling Process
Counselling Registration
- Step1: Visit the official Gujarat NEET Counselling website.
- Step 2: Register with your personal details and create a username and password.
- Step 3: Pay the required registration fees online.
- Step 4: Fill in your preferred college and course choices.
- Step 5:Visit a Help Center for document verification (if necessary).
- Step 6:Seat allotment will be done based on your choices and NEET rank.
- Step 7:If satisfied with the allotted seat, report to the college and pay tuition fees.
- Step 8:Optionally, you can participate in further rounds for seat upgradation.
Counselling Process
ROUND-01
- Main Counselling Registration: Register online and pay a non-refundable registration fee and a refundable security deposit.
- Exercising Choices: Select your preferred colleges and courses.
- Seat Allotment Round-01: The admission committee will allocate seats based on your choices and merit.

- Upgradation (Optional): If you want to upgrade your seat in Round-02, give online consent on the committee’s website.
ROUND-02
- Fresh Registration (if needed): If you didn’t register in Round-01 or if you didn’t get a seat, register for Round-02.
- Fresh Choice Filling: Select your choices for Round-02.
- Publication of Round-02 Result: Check the results on the committee’s website.
- Reporting at Help Center: Visit the selected help center with your tuition fee receipt.
- Note: Those who join a seat in Round-02 cannot participate in further rounds.
ROUND-03 (Mop-Up Round)
- Fresh Registration (if eligible): If you exited without joining in Round-02, you can register for the Mop-Up Round with a fee. Those who joined in Rounds 01 or 02 cannot participate.
- Fresh Choice Filling: Choose your preferences for the Mop-Up Round.
- Publication of Mop Up Round Result: Results will be available on the committee’s website.
- Reporting at Help Center: Visit the selected help center with your tuition fee receipt.
ROUND-04 (Stray Vacancy Round)
- No Fresh Registration: There is no new registration for Stray Vacancy Round.
- Seat Allotment: Seats can be allocated online or offline based on committee decisions.
- Online Mode: If online, you can fill fresh choices after consenting to participate.
- Offline Mode: If offline, consent online and attend the scheduled offline counseling.

MCC Counselling Process
MCC will be the conducting the counselling process for admission to Medical, Dental Colleges and Nursing Colleges for the AIQ, Central Institues, University, AIMS, JIPMER , Deemed universities, AMU, BHU and etc. The Counselling will be held in Four Rounds Namely Round 1, Round 2, Round 3 and additional Round known as Stray vacancy round which will be the last round for the counselling and admission. Here’re are some details about each round given below:
ROUND-1:
- Register for Main Counseling: Visit www.mcc.nic.in and register for Round-1 by paying a Non-Refundable Registration fee and Refundable Security Deposit.
- Choice Filling and Locking: Choose your preferred institutes and courses during the specified days and lock your choices.
- Seat Allotment Round-1: Based on your choices and merit, seats will be allotted in Round-1.
- Result Publication: The Round-1 result will be published on the MCC website.
- Upload Essential Certificates: After the result is declared, upload the necessary certificates as per the guidelines.
- Physical Reporting: If allotted a seat, physically report to the allocated Medical/Dental College with original documents. Those who want to upgrade to Round-2 must report with their original documents.
ROUND-2:
- Candidates Not Allotted in Round-1: If you weren’t allotted a seat in Round-1, no need to register again. You will automatically be considered for Round-2.
- Fresh Registration for Round-2: New candidates or those who didn’t register in Round-1 must register for Round-2 by paying the fees.
- Choice Filling and Locking: Fill new choices and lock them during the specified period.
- Seat Allotment Round-2: Seats will be allotted based on your choices and merit.
- Result Publication: The Round-2 result will be published on the MCC website.
- Upload Essential Certificates: After the Round-2 result is declared, upload the necessary certificates as per the guidelines.
- Physical Reporting: If allotted a seat in Round-2, physically report to the allocated Medical/Dental College. Upgraded candidates must take relieving from Round-1 seat and join Round-2 seat.
ROUND-3:
- Candidates Not Allotted in Previous Rounds: If you were not allotted a seat in Round-1 or Round-2, no need to register again. You will be considered for Round-3.
- Fresh Registration for Round-3: New candidates or those who didn’t register in Round-1 or Round-2 must register for Round-3 by paying the fees.
- Choice Filling and Locking: Fill new choices and lock them during the specified period.
- Seat Allotment Round-3: Seats will be allotted based on your choices and merit.
- Result Publication: The Round-3 result will be published on the MCC website.
- Upload Essential Certificates: After the Round-3 result is declared, upload the necessary certificates as per the guidelines.
- Physical Reporting: If allotted a seat in Round-3, physically report to the allocated Medical/Dental College.
FINAL STRAY VACANCY ROUND:
- Fresh Registrations: Candidates must register for the Final Stray Vacancy Round.
- Elimination: Candidates with allotted seats in other rounds will be eliminated from the Stray Vacancy Round.
- Stray Vacancy Round: The AIQ Stray Vacancy Round for vacant seats will be conducted online by MCC of DGHS, MoHFW.
- Seat Allotment: Seats will be allotted based on merit in the Stray Vacancy Round.
- Joining Allotted Seat: If allotted a seat in the Stray Round, the candidate must join the allocated seat/college. Failure to join will result in debarment from NEET examination for 01 year and forfeiture of fees.
(Note: Candidates can participate in Round-2 or Round-3 directly without fresh registration if they are not allotted a seat in the previous round. Upgraded candidates cannot claim their previous round seat.)
Documents Required for UG Courses
- NEET-UG Admissions card and score card.
- Class X Mark Sheet
- Class XI Mark Sheet
- H.S.C. Mark sheet or any other equivalent exam.
- Transfer certificate
- Graduation Certificate (if required)
- Permanent Community Certificate Card.
- Income Certificate for the candidates claiming fee exemption.
- Nativity certificate and supporting documentation are required for applicants who have studied from Standard VI to Standard XII in a state other than Tamil Nadu.
- The candidate who is a Tamil Nadu native and has studied from VI to XII standard in Tamil Nadu schools should also present supporting documentation of the parent’s certificates.
- Special Category Form with an additional fee of Rs.100/- via Bank payment portal with relevant certificates for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities, Eminent Sports Person and Ex-Servicemen, as applicable, along with the online application form should be uploaded.

Qualifying Marks | Minimum 50% is required for the general category, 40% for SC/ST, and 45% for Physically Disabled candidates. |
