It is named after Maharaj Agrasen, a legendary Indian king of Agroha in India. It can be found in Agroha, Haryana, India. Om Prakash Jindal founded the college, and his wife Savitri Jindal is the current president of the institute’s governing society.

Maharaja Agrasen Medical Education & Scientific Research Society was founded on April 18, 1988, in Agroha, Haryana, to offer medical education and health care services. It was the vision of visionary and great social leaders of the Agarwal Community, including Late Sh. Ghanshyam Das Goel (Founding Chairman), Sh. O.P. Jindal, Sh.
