R.C.S.M. Government Medical College Kolhapur is located at Dasara Chowk, Bhausingji Road, Kolhapur District, Maharashtra State, India. It was founded in the year 2000. RCSM GMC is affiliated with MUHS, Nasik. M.C.I. New Delhi has recognised the college for Medical Education in India.
The medical college and hospital are in the Maharashtra city of Kolhapur, Karvir. The college is located in the busy city centre and serves the districts of Kolhapur as well as Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, Satara, and Sangli.
The institute is primarily funded by the Maharashtra government and provides a wide range of services, mostly to the underprivileged sections of society. Since its inception, the CPR hospital, popularly known as “Thorala Davakhana,” has served people from neighboring districts such as Sangli, Satara, Konkan area including Sindhudurga and Ratnagiri, south Karnataka including Belgaum district, and Kolhapur district.
The Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER) is in charge of all admissions to undergraduate courses. DMER administers the MHT-CET Common Entrance Test. 15% of total seats are reserved for All India quota, which will be filled through the center’s all India premedical entrance exam. The first MBBS college building is located in Shenda Park, on the outskirts of Kolhapur. The campus is relatively large at 40 acres and includes a small lake known as Shenda Lake.

- Register for Main Counseling: Visit www.mcc.nic.in and register for Round-1 by paying a Non-Refundable Registration fee and Refundable Security Deposit.
- Choice Filling and Locking: Choose your preferred institutes and courses during the specified days and lock your choices.
- Seat Allotment Round-1: Based on your choices and merit, seats will be allotted in Round-1.
- Result Publication: The Round-1 result will be published on the MCC website.
- Upload Essential Certificates: After the result is declared, upload the necessary certificates as per the guidelines.
- Physical Reporting: If allotted a seat, physically report to the allocated Medical/Dental College with original documents. Those who want to upgrade to Round-2 must report with their original documents.
