Counselling Process

Step 1: Registration 

Candidates must register on the admission web portal by providing their personal and academic details.

Step 2: Merit List: 

A Haryana State Merit List is prepared based on NEET PG/NEET MDS examination marks and additional incentive marks for in-service candidates.

Step 3: Choice Filling: 

Candidates must choose their preferred course/specialty/institution in the order of preferences given by the candidate on the online web portal.

Step 4: Seat Allotment: 

The allotment of course/speciality/institution/college shall be made based on the merit list and the choice/preference of the candidate. However, the result shall be provisional, and final confirmation of seats and allotment of institutes will be done after physical verification of eligibility and original documents.

Step 5: Document Verification: 

Candidates who have been provisionally allocated a seat will have to appear in person for document verification (with all original documents) before the admission committee at Pt. B.D Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak.

Step 6: Admission Confirmation: 

The provisional allocation of the seat/institute online shall give no legal right to the candidate for the said seat. The seat shall be confirmed only after document verification as per the specific time period notified. The Admission Committee reserves the right to cancel the provisional allocation of seat allotted to a candidate in case of incomplete/invalid documents.

Step 7: Schedule: 

The schedule of document verification/admissions and start of classes shall be in conformity with the schedule laid down by National Medical Commission/ Dental Council of India/Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India and State Government.

Step 8: Eligibility Criteria: 

Candidates applying on the basis of NEET PG  and NEET MDS should fulfill the eligibility criteria for being granted admissions as fixed under NEET PG and NEET MDS.

Step 9: Tie-breaking: 

In case of a tie between two or more candidates having equal marks, the inter-se ranking of such candidates will be based on NEET PG  and NEET MDS  Rank. For admissions under ESM Category, preference will be given as per State Government.

Step 10: Final Decision: 

The choice of the course/speciality/institution shall be filled by the candidate on the online web portal. The choices of course/speciality/institution in the order of preferences given by the candidate will be considered final.

Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. The MCC is responsible for conducting online counselling for admission of 50% of seats to various postgraduate medical and dental courses in India, including MBBS and BDS, through the NEET UG and NEET PG exams, respectively.

The MCC conducts centralized counselling for the 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats in government medical and dental colleges across India, as well as for seats in Deemed and Central Universities, ESIC, and AFMC colleges. The counselling process involves registration, choice filling, seat allotment, document verification, and admission to the allotted colleges.

MCC NEET Counselling Registration

MCC holds four rounds of NEET-UG counseling for AIQ, including a mop-up round and a stray vacancy round. Following the completion of Round 2, the MCC will fill the remaining seats in a mop-up round and a stray vacancy round. The following steps must be taken:

  • Visit the official website: Visit the official website of MCC (https://mcc.nic.in/) and click on the “UG Medical Counseling” tab.
  • New registration: Click on “New Registration” and fill in all the required details such as personal details, contact details, NEET exam details, and security pin. After filling in all the details, click on the “Submit” button.
  • Login credentials: After successful registration, a new page will appear with your login credentials. Use these credentials to log in and fill in your choices of colleges and courses.
  • Choice filling: Fill in your preferred colleges and courses in order of priority. You can choose as many choices as you want.
  • Locking of choices: After you have filled in your choices, you need to lock them by clicking on the “Lock Choices” button. Once the choices are locked, you cannot make any changes.
  • Seat allotment: The MCC conducts the seat allotment process based on your rank, category, and the choices filled by you. You will be able to see your seat allotment result on the official website.
  • Reporting to the allotted college: If you are satisfied with the seat allotted to you, you need to report to the allotted college within the specified time with all the required documents and pay the admission fee.
