Andaman & Nicobar NEET counselling 2024 will be conducted by the Andaman & Nicobar Islands Institute of Medical Sciences (ANIIMS), Port Blair, for admissions to various medical and dental courses. The Andaman & Nicobar counseling process is conducted in offline mode. Candidates must attend the seat allotment procedure to participate in counselling. Students are given college options during the Andaman & Nicobar NEET counselling. Arunachal Pradesh NEET Counselling will be eligible for candidates with valid NEET Scores. The conducting authority will hold counselling for 85% of government colleges seats and 100% of private colleges seats, whereas MCC will hold counseling for the remaining 15% of government Colleges seats. The Andaman & Nicobar NEET Counselling 2024 date will be released by the official conducting authority on the official website (http://andssw1.and.nic.in/) and counseling is expected to start from the last week of July 2024 (Tentative).
Candidate must appear in NEET Exam which was held on 5th May 2024 and the result will be declared on 15th June 2024 by NTA. There is only one medical college in Andaman & Nicobar with a total 114-seat intake capacity. Counselling Registration
Step 1: Visit the Official Website

Counselling Process
Step 1: Registration
- Visit the official Andaman & Nicobar NEET Counseling website (Click Here).
- Click on the "Registration" or "Apply Now" button.
- Fill in your details, including your name, date of birth, gender, contact information, and NEET roll number. Create a username and password for your account.
- Verify the information and submit your registration.
Step 2: Document Verification
- After successful registration, you'll receive a registration number or application ID. Keep this number for reference.
- The counseling authority will announce dates and locations for document verification. Attend the verification session on the specified date and time.
- Bring the following documents for verification:
- NEET Admit Card and Scorecard
- Class 10 and 12 mark sheets and certificates
- Domicile certificate (if applicable)

- Income certificate (if applicable)
- Photo ID proof (Aadhar card, passport, etc.)
- Passport-sized photographs
- Once your documents are verified, you'll receive a verification certificate.
Step 3: Choice Filling

- You can modify your choices until the specified deadline. Remember to lock in your choices before the deadline.
Step 4: Seat Allotment
- The counseling authority will conduct seat allotment based on your NEET score and the choices you've made.

Step 5: Reporting to the Allotted College
- If you're satisfied with the seat allotment, report to the allotted college within the specified time frame.

- A nationality certificate by the District Magistrate or Metropolitan Magistrate (Competent Authority for the issue of such certificate)/valid Indian Passport or School Leaving Certificate of HSC/ 12th Std. indicating the nationality of the candidate as 'Indian'.
- Category Certificate: A certificate claiming the category applied for in the prescribed format, including the EWS Income and Asset Certificate.
- Caste Certificate (applicable for ST or OBC candidates).
- A person with Disability Claim (PWD) certificate, if applicable.

MCC Counselling Process
MCC will be conducting the counselling process for admission to Medical, Dental Colleges, and Nursing Colleges for the AIQ, Central Institutes, Universities, AIMS, JIPMER, Deemed universities, AMU, BHU, etc. The Counselling will be held in Four Rounds Namely Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, and an additional Round known as the Stray vacancy Round which will be the last round for counseling and admission. Here are some details about each round given below:ROUND-1:
- Register for Main Counseling: Visit www.mcc.nic.in and register for Round 1 by paying a Non-Refundable Registration fee and Refundable Security Deposit.
- Choice Filling and Locking: Choose your preferred institutes and courses during the specified days and lock your choices.
- Seat Allotment Round-1: Based on your choices and merit, seats will be allotted in Round-1.
- Result Publication: The Round-1 result will be published on the MCC website.
- Upload Essential Certificates: After the result is declared, upload the necessary certificates as per the guidelines.
- Physical Reporting: If allotted a seat, physically report to the allocated Medical/Dental College with original documents. Those who want to upgrade to Round-2 must report with their original documents.
ROUND-2:
- Candidates Not Allotted in Round-1: If you weren’t allotted a seat in Round-1, no need to register again. You will automatically be considered for Round-2.
- Fresh Registration for Round-2: New candidates or those who didn’t register in Round-1 must register for Round-2 by paying the fees.
- Choice Filling and Locking: Fill new choices and lock them during the specified period.Seat Allotment Round-2: Seats will be allotted based on your choices and merit.
- Result Publication: The Round-2 result will be published on the MCC website
- .Upload Essential Certificates: After the Round-2 result is declared, upload the necessary certificates as per the guidelines.
- Physical Reporting: If allotted a seat in Round-2, physically report to the allocated Medical/Dental College. Upgraded candidates must take relieving from Round-1 seat and join Round-2 seat.
ROUND-3:
- Candidates Not Allotted in Previous Rounds: If you were not allotted a seat in Round-1 or Round-2, no need to register again. You will be considered for Round-3.
- Fresh Registration for Round-3: New candidates or those who didn’t register in Round-1 or Round-2 must register for Round-3 by paying the fees.
- Choice Filling and Locking: Fill new choices and lock them during the specified period.Seat Allotment Round-3: Seats will be allotted based on your choices and merit.
- Result Publication: The Round-3 result will be published on the MCC website.
- Upload Essential Certificates: After the Round-3 result is declared, upload the necessary certificates as per the guidelines.
- Physical Reporting: If allotted a seat in Round-3, physically report to the allocated Medical/Dental College.
FINAL STRAY VACANCY ROUND:
- Fresh Registrations: Candidates must register for the Final Stray Vacancy Round.
- Elimination: Candidates with allotted seats in other rounds will be eliminated from the Stray Vacancy Round.
- Stray Vacancy Round: The AIQ Stray Vacancy Round for vacant seats will be conducted online by MCC of DGHS, MoHFW.
- Seat Allotment: Seats will be allotted based on merit in the Stray Vacancy Round.
- Joining Allotted Seat: If allotted a seat in the Stray Round, the candidate must join the allocated seat/college. Failure to join will result in debarment from NEET examination for 01 year and forfeiture of fees.
(Note: Candidates can participate in Round-2 or Round-3 directly without fresh registration if they are not allotted a seat in the previous round. Upgraded candidates cannot claim their previous round seat.)
Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for Andaman & Nicobar NEET admission, aspirants should be aware of the eligibility requirements. Below are some of the basic ANIIMS NEET eligibility criteria, which every candidate must fulfill.
