Eligibility Criteria

a) Age: The candidate must be 17 years old on or before December 31st of the year of admission.

b) Qualifying exam: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English individually with a minimum of General Category – 50% (Physically Handicapped, PH – 45%) and for OBC/SC/ST – 45% (PH – 40%).

 c) Entrance Test:  NEET-U.G. (NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST). Admission will be granted based on the results of the entrance examination.

Admission Process

For UG 

  • Medical students must take the NEET UG Entrance Exam and obtain a valid score.
  • They must apply for centralized counseling from the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
  • The DGHS will conduct counseling for 15% All India Quota seats based on NEET UG scores, and the list of shortlisted candidates will be posted on the DGHS website.
  • Candidates must register with the state counseling authority body for state-level counseling because the state counseling body will allot 85% of the seats.
  • Candidates must choose their preferred option during the NEET UG counseling process.

NEET Counseling process for admission in Shri Vinoba Bhave Civil Hospital Silvassa

For admission in Gujarat the Admission Committee for Professional Under Graduate Medical Courses in Gujarat State(ACPUGMEC), Government of Gujarat, Gandhinagar is conducting the counseling. ACPUGMEC will release the NEET 2021 Prospectus for MBBS/BDS admission following the announcement of the results. Fill out the online application form at http://medadmgujarat.org/ug/home.aspx. To purchase a PIN, pay Rs. 200/- (nonrefundable) online and then fill out the online application form.

Aside from that, PINs can be obtained by paying fees at post offices and banks in the state of Gujarat. Students from Gujarat Kerala or those who have passed class 10 and 12 from any school in the state of Gujarat can obtain all candidate impressions from Gujarat or CCSE. First Round

This counseling is conducted online, and there is a state quota on open seats in all government and private colleges. Seat allotment is done by computer based on the provisional merit list; if you get a seat allotment, you must log in to the portal and download the allotment letter and fees challan from the ACPUGMEC official website. The candidate must pay the tuition fees and submit the original documents listed below to the help center. If you want to upgrade this seat, you can do so in the following rounds. If no seats are available, you will have to wait for the second round. Following the submission of the document to the help center. If you wish to cancel your admission, you will be eligible for subsequent rounds. The first free round is the exit round.

Second Round

Vacant seats during the first round will be transferred to the state after the second round of MCC to be filled. Dusurecharan is being counseled for this. This counseling is also provided online. The first-round seat can also be upgraded in this case. If your seat is upgraded during this round, you must report to the help center. If you joined the seat in the second round of MCC, you will be unable to participate in the second round.
