NEET PG Counseling is conducted by the medical counseling committee for admission to various postgraduate medical and dental specialization courses. After the release of the NEET PG results, the MCC will publish the eligibility requirements and the seat allocation. Qualified candidates may register on the MCC’s official website at https://mcc.nic.in/.
There will be a total of four counseling sessions: rounds 1, and 2, a mop-up round, and a stray vacancy round to fill any remaining vacancies. To be eligible for seat allocation, online registration is required. Based on the choices made, the number of seats available in a specific institute, the reservation criteria, and other factors, MCC will release the results of the seat allocation. Each round’s seat allocation results will be made public separately.
MCC conducts counseling for 50% of the All India Quota seats, and the appropriate state counseling agencies will conduct counseling for the remaining 50%. MCC manages the seat allocation process for deemed, central universities, 50% AIQ seats, and 50 state quota seats. To participate in the counseling process, candidates must register online.

MCC Counelling Process for 50% ( AIQ )
About MCC:
The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) is the authorized body to conduct counseling for the National Eligibility Cumulative Entrance Test (NEET) for qualified applicants. The MCC/DGHS will conduct counseling for 50% AIQ, 100% Deemed Universities, Central Universities (including Delhi University, AMU, and BHU including Institutional/Domicile Quota), ESIC, AFMC (only Registration Part), and I.P Universities (VMMC, SJH, and D ABVIMS, RML, and& ESIC Dental), Delhi (50% AIQ + 50% Institutional Quota), 100% AIIMS, 100% JIPMER, and B.
MCC NEET Counselling Registration and Choice filling
MCC will hold four rounds of NEET-UG counseling for AIQ, including a mop-up round and a stray vacancy round. Following the completion of Round 2, the MCC will fill the remaining seats in a mop-up round and a stray vacancy round. The following steps must be taken:
Step 1: To apply for NEET UG counseling, go to the Medical Counselling Committee’s website, mcc.nic.in.
Step 2: Then, on the homepage, select UG Medical Counselling.
Step 3: On the screen, look for the NEET UG Counselling registration link and click on it.
Step 4: Fill out the required information and register on the MCC website.
Step 5: Fill out the NEET UG Counselling application form after logging in.
Step 6: After that, upload the required documents, pay the NEET UG Counselling registration fee, and submit the form.
Step 7: Finish the NEET counseling option locking process.
Step 8: Check your college admission status after the NEET UG seat allotment result is released.
Step 9: Then, with all of the required documentation, go to the designated medical college for admission.
Seat Allotment
After every round of counseling, the seat allotment result will be declared. NEET counseling results, released in the form of the seat allotment list and seat allotment letter, will release the seat allotted to the candidates. Candidates can check their name, roll no., allotted category, candidates’ category, allotted college, quota, and course in the NEET seat allotment list. The seat allotment letter is an important document that needs to be submitted at the time of reporting to the allotted college along with other mandatory documents.
Reporting to the Allotted College
Candidates should report to the allotted college to complete the admission formalities. At the time of reporting to the allotted college, candidates must submit the original copy of the mandatory documents as given below

NEET PG Admit Card
Candidates who applied for the exam by the deadline and met all other eligibility requirements can now access their NEET PG 2023 admit cards online. On February 27, NBE activated a link to the NEET PG 2023 admissions form on its official website. It should be noted that NEET PG 2023 admit cards won’t be mailed to specific applicants. On the official NBE website, nbe.edu.in, applicants must log in with their application ID and password to download their NEET PG hall ticket for 2023.
NEET PG Counseling Reservation Policy (AIQ)
Only 50% of the total number of PG seats in government medical colleges across the nation are subject to the All India Quota, which includes OBC and EWS reservations. For 50% of AIQ seats, candidates from any state, with the exception of Jammu and Kashmir, may apply for admission to government colleges spread across the nation.
