Punjab NEET UG Counseling Dates 2022

Candidates who meet the minimum eligibility requirements can apply in the Punjab State for State Quota/Minority Quota seats. The University has invited online application forms from eligible NEET UG-2022 aspirants at the University website, i.e. www.bfuhs.ac.in, from 07.10.2022 to 13.10.2022.

The deadline for paying the Rs. 5900 ($5000 + $900 @ 18% GST) and Rs. 2950 ($2500 + $450 @ 18% GST) fees using the online payment system is October 13, 2022.

Candidates for the Sports Category must personally (by hand) submit a printed/hard copy of the online application together with the Sports Graduation Certificate issued by the Director, Sports, Punjab and any other supporting self-attested copies of certificates or documents to the university will be in October 14, 2022 (upto 05:00 pm).

Schedule/Details for document verification and eligibility checks will be as follows on October 17, 2022:  

a) Category Codes- 18(1), 18(2), 19, 20(1), 20(2), 21– Terrorist/Sikh Riot affected 

b) Category Code 22 to 30– Wards of Armed Forces Personnel- Defense 

c) Category Codes31 to 33-Wards of Punjab Police Personnel, Punjab Armed Police, Punjab Home Guards and Para-Military Forces 

d) Freedom Fighter Category Code-34

Candidates applying for the Micro-reserved categories listed in above, must attend in the Auditorium Hall at GGS Medical College, Faridkot, in accordance with the stated schedule.

The dates from October 15 to October 17, 2022, will be used to verify if minority candidates are eligible for admission to MBBS/BDS programmes for the session 2022,  and will be held at the following venue:

a) Sikh Minority- At SGRD Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Amritsar 

b) Christian Minority- At Christian Medical College, Ludhiana

The Display of Candidates’ Provisional Merit List will be in October 19, 2022.

The final date is October 20, 2022 for NEET UG applicants to submit objections to the Provisional Merit List (if any). Note: Objections may only be made in person at the Admission Branch of the BFUHS in Faridkot, together with the necessary records and documentation. 

Final Display of the Provisional Merit List will be on October 21, 2022.

Last date is October 17, 2022 for submitting physical application form for NRI quota (Application form for Eligibility certificate and admission application form for NRI candidates are accessible separately on the University website, www bfuhs ac in).

Participation in 1st Round of Online Counseling

a) To participate in Round-I online counseling, the candidate must login again on the website supplied by the University to submit the choices/preferences of college/course/quota/category.

b) Seats will be assigned based on the candidate’s NEET merit-based choices/preferences for college/course/quota/category.

It s crucial to know the Schedule for 1st Round of Online Counseling:

Choice filling will be from October 22 to October 27, 2022.

Seat Allotment Processing is going to be from October 28 to October 31, 2022.

Result Display will be in November 2, 2022.

The last date is November 03, 2022 (upto 12:00 Noon) for NEET UG applicants to submit objections to the Provisional Allotment List (if any). Note: Objections may only be made in person at the Admission Branch of the BFUHS in Faridkot, together with the necessary records and documentation. 

If there is a change in the provisional allotment after considering objections, it will be posted on the University website on November 3, 2022.

Candidates must report to their provisionally assigned colleges and pay their six-month tuition fee by November 7, 2022, at 5:00 p.m., using the University Payment Gateway, which is accessible via the University website’s Student Login.

Participation in 2nd Round of Online Counseling

a) A new schedule will be uploaded, and the candidate must comply to it.

b) No new applications will be accepted.

c) The candidate must express willingness and deposit a security deposit (refundable/adjustable) equal to the penalty amount.

d) Based on the new schedule, the candidate must submit new college/course/quota/category (choices/preferences) on the web portal.

e) College choices/preferences will only be displayed based on eligibility and willingness submitted prior to beginning the second round of online counseling. The seat shall be assigned based on the eligibility requirements and the NEET score.

f) Seats will be assigned based on the candidate’s NEET merit-based choices/preferences for college/course/quota/category.

Participation in the MopUp Round of Online Counseling: 

a) A new schedule will be posted on the University website, which will be followed in whole.

b) The seats that remained unfilled after Round II online counseling will be displayed.

Participation in the Stray Vacancy Round of Counseling: 

a) A new schedule will be issued on the University website, which must be followed in whole.

b) The seats that remain available after the MopUp Round will be announced on the University website, and the candidate must attend physical counseling on University campus.
