For admission to MDS programs at various universities and institutions across the nation, a NEET-MDS qualification is required. According to the official announcement, the NEET MDS 2024 exam, initially scheduled for February 9, 2024, has been rescheduled. The new date for the examination is March 18, 2024.

About National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS)
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) was established by the Government of India in 1975 with the goal of enhancing the standard of medical education by establishing high and uniform standards for postgraduate examinations in contemporary medicine on an All India Basis and making use of the already-existing healthcare infrastructure for capacity building.

NEET MDS Exam Application Form
Candidates can apply for exam to various postgraduate courses by filling up the application form on official website (https://nbe.edu.in)

Step 1: New User Registration
All candidates interested in applying for NEET MDS Exam must create an online profile in order to generate a UserID and password.
Step 2: Applicant Login
This newly created User ID and Password will enable the candidate to login as an applicant for the NEET MDS Exam session and register an online application. The “Go to Application” link allows the applicant to continue with the application submission as soon as the user is created.
Step 3: Filing the Necessary Information
Candidates are requested to thoroughly go through the application form and fill up the necessary personal and academic pieces of information. Information such as the name of the candidate, gender, date of birth, registered phone number, email ID, and nationality will be used to create the user ID.
Step 4: Uploading Documents
Candidates are requested to recent passport-size photograph, along with the necessary documents mentioned on the application form and candidates are requested to upload a scanned copy of their signature. Candidates also upload a scanned photo of their thumb impressions
(After uploading the all necessary documents candidate can further proceed to the Test City option.)
Step 5: Test City
The test city can be chosen from a list of available options on a first-come, first-served basis. While the city will be chosen by the candidate at the time of online application form submission, NBEMS will assign the test center/venue in the chosen city.
Step 6: Payment
After selecting a test city, the candidate must pay the prescribed examination fee online. The fee cannot be paid in any other way than through the payment gateway provided in the online application form.
( Candidates will be prompted to preview the entire application before submitting it in order to make any necessary corrections. After agreeing to the “declaration,” they must submit the application. This will conclude the application submission process.)
Step 7: Acknowledgement of Application Submission
An email will be sent to the candidate’s registered email address confirming the submission of an application. Only after successfully paying the examination fee will the application be submitted. The candidate should confirm the payment status in the application form PDF, where ‘S’ stands for “Successful” and “F” stands for “Failed.”
EDIT Window
Candidates who successfully submitted payment for their application during the Application Submission window will only be able to edit their applications from January 30th to February 3rd, 2024.
(No new application can be registered during edit window or payment can be made during the window.)
Information entered in the application form can be changed during the “Edit Window”. However, the following fields in the application form shall remain non-editable:

NEET MDS Exam Admit Card
- On February 2024, the National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences website, https://nbe.edu.in, will publish the admit cards. Before the exam is held, candidates who are found to be ineligible will not be given admit cards.
- Candidates will be alerted via SMS/Email notifications and website notices when the admit card is available on the NBEMS website. The candidates will not receive an admit card via mail or email.
- Candidates must download their admit cards from the NBEMS website and firmly paste their most recent (not older than three months) passport-size photo in the designated space on the card.

Counselling And Reservation
All India Quota MCC NEET Counseling (AIQ) 50%
For PG Admission
The All India Quota, which includes OBC and EWS reservations, applies to only 50% of total PG seats in government dental colleges across the country. The remaining 50% of seats under the All India Quota is reserved for candidates with state domicile. Except for Jammu and Kashmir, candidates from any state can seek admission into government colleges located in any part of the country for 50% of AIQ seats.
State Quota NEET Counseling 50%
- The 50% state quota seats point out that seats in all govt. colleges of the states/union territories respectively. The respective state authorities will likely carry out counseling for such seats.
- To apply for state quota seats, candidates should fulfill the NEET 2024 eligibility criteria set by every state or union territory authority and embrace domicile conditions.
- Admission to personal medical and dental colleges will even be a topic of the insurance policies of the State/ Union Territory.
